The 11th Global Leadership Awards (GLA), saw a total of 36 leadership awards won by industry players from Malaysia and the international arena. The award was given to our Chairman, Tan Sri Faizah binti Mohd Tahir, for her outstanding leadership qualities, especially in steering Orphancare Foundation towards achieving its vision and mission.

The Trust chose Orphancare Foundation to be the beneficiary for this Award in 2019. “Orphan Care is doing fantastic work in providing a safe haven for at-risk babies and children, their work is in tandem with Gandhi's philosophy where he espoused that in order to have real peace in the world you need to begin with children, ” said Prof Dr Sulochana Nair, who is a trustee for the Gandhi Memorial Trust.
